Bryan made his announcement in a LinkedIn post, stating, in part, "Nearly six years. Three roles. Four managers. One extraordinary chapter I've chosen to close at its peak. I leave with something greater than any title or milestone."
Bryan joined Apple Music as Head of Country in August 2020, coinciding with the debut of Apple Music Radio and the launch of Apple Music Country, Apple Music Hits, and the rebrand of Beats 1 to Apple Music 1. Bryan earlier spent three years with CAA as an agent, but his media career was forged in radio, culminating in a five-year stint as SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Nashville and PD of heritage Country WSIX. Bryan previous served five years with iHeartMedia Orlando as PD of Top 40 WXXL (XL106.7) and Digital PD for the cluster. Earlier in his radio career Bryan enjoyed two tours of duty with WNVZ (Z104)/Norfolk (one of those as PD), and a stint as APD of WEZB (B97)/New Orleans. Bonus Fun Fact: Bryan famously launched a station in Greensboro that he named after his dog (seriously) -- WSMW (98.7 Simon).
