So, Cristal goes to the morning show on KHITS, and no one's talking about it?

Wow.

I've been very impressed with her in middays. She definitely sounds like the target, and she had a ton of relevant content. Tight, focused, and professional. Perfect Top 40 midday talent. I think she'll do well in mornings.

I was surprised to learn she was a homegrown talent. She must have come in right after I left. She's following the same path Carly Rush did .... started off on overnights, killed it in middays for years, then on to mornings.

Not bad. Hard to tell if he will have better chemistry with Cristal. He never jelled with Lindsey. That was awkward from day one. Lindsey seems more comfortable with AC. Everybody wins!

She's actually been on that show since Lindsay left, it's just been made a permanent move. What is there to talk about? She's great, but the show is still horrible. It isn't her fault, and it may not be Austin's fault either.

Personally, I think the audience will have the final say, not internet pundits who rain negativism on everything. Why does a thread celebrating the success of a talented fellow broadcaster have to turn into a hatefest with anonymous grouses taking non-specific shots.

I remember when we put Carly and Stan on. It was exactly the hot mess I wanted it to be, and despite all the ersatz "broadcasters" on this board constantly badmouthing them, they went on to get the highest numbers in the history of KHITS (up to that point, at least. i don't know about later), and for the first time, the morning show outperformed the station.

I sure hope Cristal doesn't pay any attention to all the crap on here. Just one more reason these boards are dying.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Crystal...she's amazing on and off air. I don't know Austin, but he's certainly talented. The show just isn't working right now, but it is MUCH better than when Lindsay was there. KHTT is awful all he way around, is really what I'm getting at.

How's that for a "specific shot"?
