HOW ABOUT RICKARDS BEING THANKFUL FOR A CHANGE?

Unfortunately, I, like many others have had to listen to many tirades of Rickards on the radio. Is it just me or is this REALLY old??? I was thinking, why doesn't the guy be thankful for a change to KGB. Dave ought to thank them for paying him millions upon millions of dollars so his family could enjoy a life that most people only dream of. I mean this genuinely...he ought to be grateful for having his name and his career put on the map with a station very well-regarded around the country. He ought to be thankful to have been able to showcase his great talent for many, many years on one radio station most of his time in San Diego. He ought to be grateful that his coworkers were paid handsomely and were as loved as he was. People are living hand to mouth, searching for jobs desperately out there, and they are sinking. Instead of being a man and furthermore a GENTLEMAN, he could have said...hey it didn't work out and that is really too bad. No, he just took this classless way to bash and trash a station that honestly, was good to him. Now he just whines, cries and throws tantrums about how "awful" he was treated and blah, blah, blah. He is just so bitter. What gives? We all have been hurt in life...but it GOES ON. I tried to listen to DSC, but it just isn't happening anymore. It's just bitter and angry. Too bad. Like I said...just being honest.

No, they also have light-hearted discussions about genitalia.
 
I think they are really missing the S in DSC. The sooner she gets back on the show the better. Elana is a nice temporary replacement but Shelley always seemed to act as a counter balance to Dave's rants. Hopefully he will calm back down when they can finally add her back to the group.

I think Dave will calm down when Shelly arrives.Elana dont cut it on the show..To young.doesnt know what odp means or a glory hole...An i fully agree that Dave needs to shut up as for the whining.

It sounds like he's become a bitter man and that being on Jack doesn't take away the sting of getting booted from KGB.

Reminds a bit of the late Jack Merker. I had the misfortune of working for him for two weeks (all I could stand) at KOGO when Par Broadcasting owned it. I had always admired Jack as a newscaster on KSDO during its heyday, but at KOGO he was mostly consumed by bitterness at KSDO for having canned him and his sole goal at KOGO was to win some sort of broadcasting awards that would make the people at KSDO realize what they'd lost. It didn't make much sense, but that's what drove him and he pretty much spent his workday at KOGO being pissed at KSDO.
