How about some online exclusive channels?

I had thought of this when I was reading all the complaints about channels being deleted but didn't bring it up. Another poster who said he was missing the Bridge brought it back to mind. XM does this with channels they have either deleted or never had on satellite at all. Gives me a reason to use the online service even with the receiver near the computer. Why can't Sirius do this? Some good candidates right off the top of my head would be: The Bridge, Folk Town, Swing Street, and Remix. Also, I wish they'd offer a higher quality stream for those of us who have a high speed connection.

Looks like the Bridge is permanently closed

When E. Street Band Radio first took over the Bridge, the Sirius website stated that the Bridge would return early this year. Now there's no mention of it at all.

I think they introduced E. Street Radio as a three-month deal.

I believe it was stated that "the Bridge" would return sometime around February.(either the first or end of Feb.). I hope so. I don't like these one artist channels and I hope it doesn't keep becoming the trend at Sirius. If they want to do this, they need to devote one channel as an "artist spotlight" channel, and rotate artists every week or month.

Are these one-artist channels being paid for by the labels? Do terrestrial payola laws apply to satellite?
