How awful is Reese on the Radio?

There's always VaCay Jay or Sean Vanity (on WHJJ, WGIR, or America Right on The Special
Radio Receiver Howie Is Not Allowed To Mention) to listen to :)
 
I just heard Reese filling in for Howie Carr ...I will listen to him again ..keep the flow going on da show

I think he is the the one thing WRKO has done right in a long time. Have not had a chance to hear much of his show during his normal mid day shift.
When Howies away my immediate reaction is the WTKK button, this is the first time in ages I have stayed with WRKO, thought he was a great listen both Monday and Tuesday and will make an effort to check out his mid day show.

A different intelligent out of town perspective
 
Who cares if he doesn't know one local town from the next? That can be learned, but talent is harder to acquire. I find him entertaining because he stakes out a position and facilitates a discussion. I also feel like he enjoys the back and forth with most callers.

I've said it before, he's my favorite thing on WRKO right now.

Actually I've thoroughly enjoyed him ... listen, the alternative is the "Colonel" which makes me race for the presets.

Neither does the morning OR afternoon host on WTKK. Vacay Severino can't even pronounce the towns in his immediate area. Pea-body?
 
Reese isn't that bad, he actually held my attention for a few minutes the other day. I don't listen to Howie's guest hosts as a rule. The Colonel is unlistenable while Avi Nelson has a real gift for somnolence. They should just let Sandy fill in once a while. I think she could hold her own, for at least a day or two.
 
I listened in and after an hour of Reese's cackling I knew I couldn't take anymore. Sorry folks, but constantly laughing at your own jokes does not pass as talent IMO. If you want to hear a black talk host who really is funny and informative, check out MN's Jason Lewis when he covers for Rush. I wish Avi had gotten another crack at covering for Howie.
 
Maybe it's just me....but the phrase: REESE ON THE RADIO sounds incredibly out of date!

Kind of like the phrases: "ALL HIT MUSIC", "YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID!" or "COME ON DOWN!" ::)
