How bad can it get?

Maybe they are looking for the olde English listeners? Then again it does show the IQ of WRKO management which in iteself is an oxyMORON ;)

Maybe they are looking for the olde English listeners?

What does the spelling of the word Programme (which is perfectly correct, just as the spelling of the word color as colour) have to do with old English?

Just wondering, but when you saw the word spelled programme, did you have difficulty understanding what was meant?

Not exactly Beowulf, if you know what I mean.

Thanks and regards,
TSB

Did I Right That ( Write ) ? :D . WBZ Ceeping it Real ! Good Programmme Limezup ! LOL

program / programme, labor / labour, it's all the same language.

or they've outsourced their website maintenance to India.

now that wouldn't suprise me. Remember when WRKO had the Boston skyline in the opposite direction as it should have been on their website?

Is there a "wrong way?" If you're in Cambridge, the skyline appears differently than it does when you're in Marina Bay.

Let me see..Management, Brains, WRKO. hmmm. Nope, does not compute.

I happened to look at the website for Entercom's station in Wichita, KS - http://www.knssradio.com/

Look familiar?

At the bottom of both the WRKO and the KNSS websites it says "Powered By InterTech Media, LLC"

On the InterTech website, in the "About Us" section, it says: "InterTech Media is headquartered in Stamford, Conn., with an office in Mumbai, India."

So, there you go....

I wonder when they start posting cricket stats next to baseball.

(And I bet they laugh hilariously listening to Americans ranting about foreigners on the radio while they program our websites.)

Not for nothin' but how do you have time at work to do this research? Where can I get a job that has a boss that lets you get away with that. (For the record my boss was to hungover from going to the Pats game to come in today, so I can slack off and post on message boards all day)

Mule, sorry I didn't reply earlier but I was at work (ha, ha).

Re time to do this research:
It only took five minutes. I already knew the KNSS website looked just like WRKO, so I just looked to see if they were powered by the same company and et voila, they were. I clicked on the link to the company, clicked on About US, et voila. Just lucky, I guess.

Re boss that let's me get away with that...
I'm in business development which is a fancy word for sales - my job is to pack my bags and jump on a plane to wherever whenever it's needed. In exchange for that flexibility, no one looks over my shoulder to see what websites I'm looking at or posting to during conventional business hours. Works for me and apparently works for them, cuz they keep paying me. I'll let you know if that changes!
