"The Big Bopper" should be in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. He's the only one of three who died that day, who isn't. With "White Lightening" and "Running Bear" also on his list of songwriting successes, you'd think he would have been in a long time ago.
 
Wow. I never knew he never got a dime for CHANTILLY LACE, the million-selling song.

Shows how crooked and cheating those record co's were back then (and today).
