Who would want to download WCBS FM .com's 40 KBPS sound quality. It would be better soundwise to rip the songs they play off cd's or buy them from Realnetworks Napster or I-Tunes

Probably because your method costs hella more. If the internet feed is okay to listen to, why nitpick over sound quality? <P ID="signature">______________

Very carefully.

I wanted to load my mp3 player with wcbsfm.com too because its programmed good and it fits my likings to the oldies i like from 55-89 with the classic cbsfm jingles & promos. my mp3 player is a flash memory player and is only 512mb of data and i have to convert the mp3s from my cds anyway to a lower bitrate to fit more on so since wcbsfm.com streams at 40kpbs i really don't mind the sound at least i can fit a lot of the stream onto it to listen to it outside.
