Thought I'd throw in a little analysis of how TS Cindy affected N.O. radio last night.
'TIX-FM and Hot 104.5 went off the air at about 6:00 - 7:00, I believe. Of course, they were the first to go, since their tower is in lower Plaquemines. The tower came back online about midnight, and Hot eventually resumed broadcasting. 'TIX-FM is still off the air; no surprise there.
106.7 the End had a similar issue, but they're also back on.
B97 and Kool 95.7 went down for a little while around midnight, but it wasn't a long period of off-air time for them.
I don't know how the 94.9 half of Praise 94.9 is doing right now, but I can elaborate on 94.7. Eventually, the signal got real garbled and then went off the air. The 94.7 tower is back online, but is not broadcasting anything.
