How close in the past has WLS-FM ever been No. 1?

As a “classic hits” format that is. I think once they were No. 3 if I remember right but never No. 1? I know Cumulus isn’t reporting right now but is it possible if they were reporting that they could be No. 1 or would that be next to impossible? I am guessing it would be somewhere between 6 and 9 if we had the numbers.

Thanks everyone. I think almost every city has a “cursed” frequency- and one that has good luck all the time. But FWIW I have probably listened to more WLS than all the other Chicago combined whether I lived in the listening area for most of the 80’s or online. Glad to hear they were #1 at least once even if they had to share the top spot.
