how come there no more live mixes on radio?

every time i listen to mix on the radio i here a jock playing nothing but sweepers no live mixers no live dj in the booth for example i was checking out wgci they was playing dj v-dub mix cd he wasnt in the studio live are we seeing a trend in hiphop radio where the mixes not live no more.

Yeah Fresh. It's called "automation".

You don't hear live mixes anymore because it costs the station $$$MONEY$$$ to hire a human being to produce it. They don't have to pay a computer or [increasingly] a satellite receiver to do the job.

YUP, I HATE DAT ISSSH!! V-103 HERE IN ATLANTA IS KNOWN FOR THAT. HOT 107.9 DOES IT TOO, BUT THE DJ MAY BE IN THE BOOTH MIXING CUTS OFF DIFEERENT MIXTAPES. 95.5 THE BEAT IS THE SAME, BUT I DONT EVEN THINK THEY HAVE TURNTABLES IN THE STUDIOS.
