How could 104.9 the Cat be saved?

Seems like Pamal will try one last time to save the Cat... what would you do?

- Tweak the format? I'd personally go with an 80s/90s based country format, similar to Cumulus' "Great Country" stations... throwing in a few select 1970-1985 and 2000+/currents for good measure...

- Better morning show? You couldn't beat Sean and Richie, sure, but you could at least get a few ears to switch to 104.9 in the morning...

- New brand/call letters? If you're going to tweak the station, I'd rather dump the Cat moniker... and perhaps the WZMR call letters...

- Combine 104.9 the Cat and Froggy 107.1 into one station? You'd greatly expand your coverage that way :)

Thats already been done...Its already failed....

You are only as good as your weakest link, and with a bunch of the people from Gna goning to Abc (cat) they can be exposed. They won't be able to knock down a 50,000 station but they can erode

Don't call the simulcast of froggy 107.1 and 104.9 a failure. From the begining it was told this was a temporary measure until a new format came along for 104.9. The new format was the failure.
