How could Dave let this slip.

How could this happen? I was just listening to Dave FM(Ikept the dial thee after listening to Jimmy) and there was a commercial for Slender Spa Body Wraps. In the middle of the commercial the girl in the ad mentions for all of our Star94 listeners??? How could Dave FM let something like that on the air? I had to double check to make sure the station wasn;t turned.

Oh, the possibilities:

1) They want to see if you are paying attention.

2) They want to see if the production director is paying attention

3) They want to see if anyone would care if they start calling "Dave", "Star".

4) They want to be just like Vikki and say "Star 94" on the wrong station.

5) Star 94 has secretly placed this spot on all Atlanta Radio Stations to boost ratings.

6) This offer is only good for Star 94 listeners no matter what station they actually listen to.

7) "Dave" is suffering from Alzheimer's.

8) It was an April Fool's joke in July.

9) They meant to run the spot with the tag, "for all our WGST listeners," but there were none.

10) Somebody screwed up big time. Heads will roll.

That's the new format when I take over. Star 92.9 - Rock Without Today's Best Variety.

Wait till you hear the NEW Morning Mess with Jimmy, Zakk and Super Phat Mikey.

11) Star lost the account to Dave and they didn't bother listening to the file supplied by the client before it aired.

This would never happen if Millman was at the helm.

Mr. Letterman, it's great to have you on the board!

Star didn't lose the account. Slender Spa is just doing well and is using both stations. :)

Cool, it doesn't just happen at my station. Whoever loaded the ad should have been listening and then asked questions. I know I do. What I find annoying is knowing that a campaign is spread across numerous stations, after fixing it for our stations, you tune in to another station to discover that the person who loaded the ad didn't see and/or fix the problem, thus cost them money.
