How Did Jimmy Fallon do as Emmy Host?

I didn't see the Emmy's, so I have no opinion. I haven't heard or read anything good or bad. So I was wondering how people here thought he did as host. Will it help/hurt his Late Night show? No help at all? I'd like to hear. Thanks
 
One trend that I have noticed on some of these award shows is that the host is prominent during the first 5-10 minutes, but his/her role diminishes grealty as the show moves along. This was true with Sunday's Emmy's as well. So it is harder to rate a hosts peformance than ever. I thought Jimmy did well in the opening, but the rest of the show was hard to gauge for the exact reasons described above. In the future, they should classify these appearances as introductions as opposed to "hosting", IMO.
