How Did WBBQ do it?

There were at least 3 reasons.

1. They no longer have any competition in the AC format.
2. Christmas music
3. The old Arbitron phantom "kiss" caused by the diary system of measurement Example: Q went from 2 share to a 9 in men 18-34, which simply is not to be believed for a mainstream AC station.

They didn't do anything differently during the fall book. No music or staff changes and no outside marketing.

No offense, RadioMahn, but with Beasley changing formats every six months, not changing anything on Q was probably the smartest to do. It's kind of nice seeing the old call letters back at the top again.

Oh no offense taken. My intent wasn't to be judgemental. I was just pointing out the fact that Q hadn't changed. I didn't say whether it was a good or bad thing. After all, why would they change?
