How did you choose your "radio" last name?

I've always wanted to use the name 'Les Bull'. Wouldn't have to say much. "More music with Les Bull" or "Les Bull with More Music" or "Fewer Commercials with Les Bull" ... nah, the suits wouldn't like that last one much.

You're free to use my radio-info.com alter ego.

Back when Jack Bogut was the morning guy on KDKA in Pittsburgh I made a strong push to be allowed to use
"Jack Bogus" for my college air name. (Got turned down by the administration. Can't imagine why.)

Lots of "Mikes" appear on this thread.  Years ago there was a guy named Mike "Cash" on the radio in Baltimore.  We never could figure out whether he called himself "cash" after Johnny Cash, after all the cash he would give away for the station, all the cash he would rake in for the station, cash he made on pool bets, whether he was assigned the name.

To this day there are still those who are obsessed with playing dress ups with him - and they were either in diapers or not even a twinkle in their daddy's eye when he was around.  He did what he came to do, went away, and the station was not far behind.  Can't imagine why anyone would want to play dress ups with a once was.  LOL - high drama at the radio station with all the gals he got in his short time there.  ROFL  Married, single, strangers on remotes, whatever.  I am guessing the little swordsman probably had a poke at just about every one of them.  They had no problem airing their dirty laundry and dragging the audience into it either - whatever was convenient to cover it up so that their husbands or significant others did not find out.
