I know you need a good image voice and a good jingle package, What else?do you have to do?Thank you in advance.

Jon Carter at Megahertz Productions is one of the best in the country. He's got a Hot AC voice with just enough energy to cut through the clutter. As for imaging Chase Cuts keeps it fresh and contemporary. If you contact Jon tell him Scholar Brad sent you.

I have imaged several Christian stations of all formats complete with jingles... send me a PM with your information and I can get you going for a great price quickly. You will love what you hear.

Image a Christian AC station?

I think the most important thing in AC imaging is the writing.

Get into "Becky's" head.... and write real heart felt, descriptive imagers.

Jon's good. But expensive.

Re: Image a Christian AC station?

Agreed. Writing is the key.

Here's a question for the CCM radio oldtimers. Whatever happened to Rick Tarrant?

I don't believe the original poster is asking what we're answering; from looking at his previous posts, he just like jingles and work parts and stuff.

After the big split with Rivers, I don't know what happened to Communion Communications. Anyone?

I must ask... are you asking about technique, style, etc... or are you asking where to get elements or are ya looking for people who can voice and produce... just wondering what answer i should give.

Sit down and write out the benefits of your radio station. It could be more music, no commercials, etc. Use those benefits to write your imaging material always selling the benefit from the perspective of the listener.

Instead of "We've got the most accurate weather and taffic" it could be "We know you have people depending on you everyday. Depend on us for the traffic, weather and information you need." Or "We'll help you know how to dress the kids today."

In this age of a constant advertising barrage, people tune out words like best, most and biggest. Instead look for value words that your target listener will connect with.

My advice would also be run it by several people who would be in your target demo and get their reactions. I'd be happy to give you more if you want.

Those were all good.

Now to the Jingles.

I was thinking ReelWorld because most CCM stations are using their jingles. WFSH is one of those stations.

So, Any jingle package/company suggestions?

ReelWorld is definitely the best option out there. They are also generally the most expensive. Their jingles tend to sound more like the music you actually play than a "jingle" which is really cool. Jones TM also has some decent packages if you pick correctly.

Litehouse is from both Vineyard sound studios and newly formed TM Studios.

Here is the link you guys decide for your selvs.

Most radio stations who were using ReelWorld are going with the Litehouse updateing jingle service.

I'll give Litehouse a chance and will love there service.

Listen for your selves!

What did happen to Rick Tarrant & Communion Communications? We received his monthly packages of drop-ins and they were always very creative. Back in the early '80s I sent Rick a list of well-known pop artists who'd become born again Christians like Barry McGuire, B.J. Thomas, Dan Peek of the group America, Philip Bailey, lead vocalist of Earth Wind & Fire, along with several other artists' names and asked him to produce drop-ins that used brief hot snips from their well-known secular songs then end the drop-in with "Barry McGuire (or whoever the singer was) is singing a new song on Love 98". Rick did an outstanding job with them. Hey Rick, CCM radio still needs you.

Is LITEhouse a good choice for CCM stations?

Maybe Zone but I won't go that far.
