Seacreast reminds a lot of people I've talked to tonight a lot of a young Dick Clark, but he doesn't hold a candle to Clark, even in days past. Seacreast is a copycat, a talking head, no personality whatsoever. And I'm in the target demo who's supposed to like him; 18-49. I don't think so. I wouldn't say Seacreast is a

, but he needs to go back to radio and stay there.
Hard to watch Dick Clark in his condition? Oh yes, it was painful to see America's Oldest Teenager struggling because we all remember him (up to just before his stroke) as vibrant and lively. I think he's been very lucky, even in the shape he's in. And I was glad to see him on the air again this year.
He's still among the living (especially after a major stroke where too many folks do not make it through), and he got up there AGAIN for 2007! That takes a lot of guts, and I tip my hat to him for doing what he can. So if he wants to be on camera every now and then from here on out, hey, he's Dick Clark, he produces the show, (and doesn't he also own the show?). He can do whatever he wants, right?
