Access.1 to Go Into Receivership. The stations owned and operated by Access.1 this from Talkers Magazine.
Lender Guggenheim Corporate Funding received permission from New York State Supreme Court Judge Judy Kornriech for the move. Guggenheim and Access.1 had been trying for some time to work out a deal that would make it possible for Access.1 to pay its debt and get into positive numbers but it never happened.
The 15 stations and the Superadio syndication network will go up for sale. Bradley Scher of Ocean Ridge Capital Advisors has been named the receiver.
Not even with the sale of WMGM-FM and other signals bought up by Atlantic was enough to soak up the debt.
So will the Don Williams Show disappear from satellite tv?
