I heard "Beautiful People" on KZZP tonight. I guess that means another month or so before it hits KMVA. :-\ ;D
 
I remember when KOHT started playing it a little when I visited Tucson, BEFORE I went back to Tucson again for two months!

I guess, just like "F*ck You" by Cee-Lo Green, it's one of those songs that got early play, started to die, and will now come back stronger than ever and stay.

Wow! They're now almost at 80 songs in rotation! That's the thing about these type of stations that only play a limited amount of songs while being all current- it's sort of difficult to keep your playlist a certain size because there's never a shortage of new music coming out, and when you're basically all modern music (from 2007 forward), it's kind of hard to choose which songs to "let go" to make room for some newer ones... unless you're willing to step outside of keeping the playlist limited to a certain number of songs.

Normally, mixshows and stuff of that nature help solve this problem where you have certain songs that don't (or no longer) necessarily fit a unique style format, but you still want to give it some plays without putting it anywhere in the main playlist. I call Hot 97.5 unique because of how it was designed to be only hits from 2007 - 2011 24/7 with no old school or extra things whatsoever.

IKR? But KZON played it last night also (before the 1015 mix). It looks like B96 in Chicago now has it in regular rotation.
