How hard is it to install Shoutcast? Harder then I thought. Win Amp is pretty easy. But who has the best instructions on how to install shoutcast as a server or relay server. I'm one long step away it seems.

Im glad im not the only one having trouble with this. THE HARDEST PART IS REMEMBERING ALL THE NUMBERS, AND TYPING THEM IN, JUST RIGHT.

Don't forget to adjust your listener count according to your upload speed or you will have a mess.
other than that, its pretty easy to install and run shoutcast.

Its confusing at first, but when you stop and think about it, it all comes together, setting up a remote server is much easier, and their are free remote servers. If you are trying to set it up a DNAS server and you are behind a router, forget it, it will not work... Why dont you PM me, and let me know your exact questions, I bet I can talk you through it,, I can set up a remote server in less than 5 mins. :)

Yea Shoutcast in general is an easy setup it is the dealing with the prep such as opening ports in your firewall/router that can stump most people. And from I have heard the new 2.0 version is even easier to use.
