How is Jack aging?

Now that Jack has had time to settle in, how's it going? Is any of the music getting stale? Now that the new is starting to somewhat wear off, how do they continue?

I still like Jack, though some of the newness has worn out. They do refresh the music often, so you don't always have to hear the same songs over and over again. BTW, I won a prize from Jack, so I'm not going to say anything bad about them. :)

> Z-106? You obviously are thinking of a different target. Everything's not just rock'nroll to me. The Jack station in Jackson is supposed to be positioned to compete for Adult Contemporary dollars, like Mix 98.7, much more female oriented than the beer-burping Z-106 audience. Talk with the salespeople that are left at Jack-FM, if you know any, and see how they're faring lately. And, it is about the money. Might be in need to click on "shuffle". Jack's sister station,Rock 93.9,(who actually competes with Z-106) has better numbers than Jack. I'm not smashing Jack, now. But, just because you like it,doesn't mean it's doing gangbusters, either. Lots of stations are "doing better than Z-106".

OK, I'll bite share some numbers with us to support your point.... is it 35-54 or 25-54.... Men... Women? .... Speak from knowledge please...

prerequisite...uh...I think. And as far as the knowledge goes, we're all tied to the same runaway wagon of irrational and fictitious hogwash called "Arbitron". Did you ever look up the definition of 'arbitrary'? "Determined by chance, whim, or impulse, and not by necessity, reason, or principle." Knowledge has nothing to do with it. Only knowledge out there is that it's pretty much split 50 - 50 men to women in the 25-54 demo. Actually skews more to men recently. But you have to stop and wonder what the numbers would be like of more than 8% of people actually filled out a diary and if more than 6 diaries were sent to certain zips.

Arbitron sucks as a gage.
