Mikey is an idiot!Mikey also has a bizarre obsession with any and all things NY Yankee which is getting very old and very tired very quickly. He whined and moaned for days about David Paulley pitching Tuesday (kid pitched great) and now he's whining because the manager didn't bring in the best young relief pitcher in baseball into a tie game in the eighth inning. On Planet Mikey every game with the Yankees is life and death. Booooooring.Mike Adams is an idiot.I miss Ted Sarandis a lot. Ted was a much more intellectual and interesting listen.Mikey is a dope.
Ted was unbearable... he did offer more cerebral sports discussion but if a caller didn't follow or agree with his agenda, Ted wouldn't let them get their point in. And he wasn't called "The Humorless Ghoul" by a local sports board for nothing. Mike is marginally better but I quickly get tired of the clown act. I also think he ruins the Sunday baseball show. Buckley and McAdam on their own would be fine. Adams turns it into a typical WEEI show... Generally, when I hear WEEI hosts talking about themselves or non-sports material, I switch to ESPN radio or WWZN... at least they talk sports on there. Yeah, I'm their one listener

Ted was a big crank who yelled at everyone who wasn't Ray from Lynn, and was unlistenable.Mike Rules! His anti-Manny comments are spot on, and he can keep them coming.I hate when people say "if he delivers..blah blah blah, if he gets homeruns...blah blah" that's all crap. You try having a co-worker who makes 20 times the salary that you do and does about 2 minutes worth of work and shows no effort. Then see how you like it.
Ted wasn't nearly as knowledgeable as he is reputed to be. His comments on Belichik and the nyy vs. Atlanta Braves in the WS can only be described as strange. Mike is fine, during the Bb season. WEEI could be so much better. But they don't want to be. Sports is just a backdrop for a lot of personality driven, regular-caller content/garbage. It works for them. But they have never had any competition. Speaking of bad..........the "new" Sports Huddle: putrid, as Jim would say.
