How is Q-104 lately?

For the sake of getting some of you that aren't into the dance music posts, I'll start this thread up.

So, how about it? Do you like/hate Q-104? Anything the station can do better?

I will be the first to admit that I don't listen to the station. But for those of you that do, this is your opportunity to talk about it :)

Q104.3 is what it is - a station dependable for a dose of the most ubiquitous rock songs from the late '60s through the early '90s. It's not a station that particularly excites me, but they play enough music I enjoy to secure a spot on my presets. I do enjoy Carol Miller and Jim Kerr as well.

Well before WCBS went Jack FM, Q104.3 was the station I MOST avoided, and quickly skipped past.

Then Q-104 seemed to embrace older and less heavy rock and i found myself tuning in a bit more.

**As for the HD2 Whatever they did recently...AWESOME, recently i realized i could actually leave it on for quite awhile, some 90's stuff, grunge and alternative, MAJOR improvement in my opinion over the previous Q104 HD2 "Deep Tracks?" format ...ugh

Note: I have been disappointed a few times so Im not sure if they're still tweaking or if its different music different part of the day

Q104.3's HD2 Channel is a live stream of Clear Channel's "Rock Nation" national radio feed. "Listen Live" link: http://www.q1043.com/mediaplayer/?s...id=4386&channel_title=Q104.3 HD-2 Rock Nation

The playlist on this "iheartradio" player link doesn't necessarily synch up with the live radio feed; the few times I've checked, the "player feed" is about 10 minutes ahead of the radio feed.

Homepage for Clear Channel's "Rock Nation": http://iact-fl.clearchannel.com/main.html (Playlist function doesn't work; can only get listing of Last 10 songs played.)

The former "Deep Tracks" Classic Rock format on 104.3 HD2 was an in-house production by Q104.3.

At the bottom of the "iheartradio" player are links to other Clear Channel national radio format feeds.
