How is WBBB doing up against WRVA

Any word if 'RVA is suffering in the ratings yet againts WBBB or vice-versa. Me Personally i dont think the new river can withstand against the foundation 96 Rock has laid down for rock radio in the triangle. I think the river is doing a terrible job at doing classic rock. I say the next format for 100.7 is some kind of urban hip-hop station. Any Thoughts,

I hope the success of G105 keeps that from ever happening. River isn't great, but we really don't need any more of that crap on the dial.

I guess you guys are right the river is trying too hard to be like rdu once was and they will never be like rdu. I say loosen up the playlist add some deep cuts and more variety then just Zeppelin, Boston And Queen thats all i hear than maybe i will listen to them but right now forget about. I will just stick with 96Rock.

I don't see that happening; G105 (which plays the current hits) and 93.9 Kiss (which brings back some of the older hits with its rhythmic AC format) pretty much have that area covered.

The River almost has to go Soft AC. It's almost the only void left to fill in the market.

I don't know about ratings, but from listening to them that 96Rock beats The River in the "Cares about their station" category.

96Rock could probably lean a little bit more modern though.
