How is your AC station processed?

What kind of sound do you have? Is it warm and cozy, with not a lot of emphasis on the highs? Is it more balanced? Or is it hard, like a CHR or country station? Just trying to get some suggestions as we work on our sound...

When I was running an AC station, I programmed the box for a pretty consistent sound. I wanted a good, rich, warm sound, but was processed in a way that it was very transparent.

Gotta remember that AC radio is meant for high TSL. If you have heavily processed audio, it can lead to listener fatigue.

Best advice is to scan around the dial and listen to how other stations in your area sound. Find one you like and tell your engineer. They can listen and try to match the sound.
