how KTAR's moratorium on callers looks on local TV

BSJ on ABC15 talking w/ the anchors about the Scottsdale bookstore that booted the grandpa for being in the kids section (a story making national news, so one would reasonably think a "TALK RADIO" station would want to capitalize upon the story.) One of the anchors asks BSJ what "CALLERS" are saying about the story, and sure enough, after an awkward pause, he immediately shifts his answer to the comments he's seeing on FB.

It doesn't make for entertaining radio to hear co-hosts talk amongst themselves all day. Not entertaining at all. Would it really kill the PPM to bring back some toaster talk? It's no wonder people are fleeing to KJZZ and KFYI. Talk radio without the two-way (host/caller) dialogue isn't talk radio - it's monologue worse than Limbaugh or Savage, only diff being Detour Dan in between breaks.

haha - awesome: "What are your callers saying?" I bet there's a good reason why KTAR doesn't want to hear what people are actually thinking. Gosh- haven't they ever heard of employing shills?
