How Ridiculous was this stupid move? Now the Indianapolis market is Bloated with Adult Ac stations, and stations that generally focus on 70s and 80s music. Im getting about sick of all these Jockless Boring radio stations, they do this to cut costs, and act like they are doing something special for the listeners. Watch as they sink even farther, and finally decide to go CHR, or URBAN in the future.

What Clubber, no dance? :)

Funny...I was thinking the same thing. How pathetic would they have to be...to have to stoop as low as to flip to a dance-oriented CHR format, for example. CHR? Urban? Dance? All stunning examples of a lack of programming vision...as well as a waste of a perfectly good signal.

*tongue firmly in cheek*

Maybe The Track is just a stunt? Remember when Hank came on and quite a few people thought it was a stunt and they wouldn't stay with that format?

If there's a glut of Adult stations, its because that's were the money is! I still don't get the name (yes, even in Indianapolis) on a female-skewing station. A sports station, yes.

Not sure de-railed is the right term; maybe something like slamming into the wall coming out of one...with no safer-barrier.

It is a stunt. I predict 107.9 Hanky-FM to hit the air with Howard Stern as GM in February. And, simultaneously, 97.1 The Tack, featuring the "First Graders at a Chalkboard".

Seriously, its a trend. And when they start moving back to jocks, we'll all complain about how awful the jocks are to listen to. At least I would... restocking these stations will take a lot of time to be done right.
