How long do stations sit on new imaging before using it?

WDEL Wilmington, DE's recent (well, late December) implementation of a new ID jingle and new sounders got me thinking...

When a station prepares to implement new imaging, how long do new jingles and sounders, once they reach a state of final broadcast readiness, stay in the can, typically, before they are first used on the air?

Usually not long. Unless its a piece of a coordinated fundamental change (think big), its usually on the air as its produced or shortly thereafter.
