How Long Does Hollywood Hamilton Have?

This show is a disgrace! He has NO respect for the music. That's what makes K-EARTH great. He should realize he is the HOST not the station! The morning show really sucks!

Let me put this in perspective...
Jojo Kincaid used to do a shift on K-EARTH. But, wait a minute, Jojo used to be the fill-in for Hollywood, when he did the "Hangin' with Hollywood" weekend show. So why all the hard feeling's against Hollywood? Is he really that bad?

Hollywood is not bad, just out of place. Should be doing afternoon drive on a CHR.

Also, I know this may not be a popular viewpoint, but I just don't get Gary Bryan in the new KRTH format. He sounds like he is trying to sound Boss, but just isn't. He is reading the *same liners* at the top of the hour that sound soooo lame. I realize he may have been a Boss jock sometime before my time, but I have to believe it was more genuine then and not forced and contrived like now.

Of course, part of the problem is that even with the new playlist, it is hard to get that excited every day over the same 500 songs over and over every day

Boss doesn't really mean anything now. People forget that KHJ
stopped using Boss, or Boss Radio in 1970. Installing a "Boss
liner" isn't what its all about. Making some things happen
in a more free-flowing organic way, with at least the image
that KRTH is something more than the sum of its parts, could
at least arose some buzz. That's what the station hasn't had
since RDS and RWM. No buzz-no magic. I agree with David, the
inclusion of Santana songs is no big deal. I know there is
a temptation to throw more of the classic Drake imagers or
jingles on, but that doesn't put points on the board. KRTH
must reinvent itself.

Must reinvent itself as....(?)

(I say this out of curiosity, not a challenge. Your analysis is right on and I'm wondering what you would do with a magic wand...)

I actually get paid to come up with ideas. I don't throw
them away on the Internet.... Ask the self proclaimed know
it all, David Eduardo.

KRTH is on the right track...give it time.
Jhani's been a very successful programmer for many years,
I doubt that he's forgotten everything.

But remember as the self proclaimed will repeat as a mantra,,,
"latinos dont listen to oldies....latinos dont listen to oldies"
Although Art Laboe might disagree.
