How long does it take for the FCC to update?

KLTO has been on the air for almost a year now, and they still have a CP. How long does it take them to update? k276EL has been on the air pretty good while also, and it is still under APP.

Interestingly enough, the FCC warns applicants that the CDBS is not necessarily reliable. Often times persons directly affected by FCC glitches in the CDBS are the reasons that you see "informal objections" filed. The answer to the question is..... sometimes never. Often, slow.... really slow.

As a rule it doesn't take long to "Update". Sometimes it does take a good long time to act. And as Radio Eye correctly points out, Sometime the CDBS is just wrong.

In these 2 cases, K276EF filed for and was granted their permanant license on April 4th 2007 under 20070319AAS.

KLTO is another story apparently. They filed for a license, certifying completion of construction on 11-17-2006. That application has yet to be acted upon (According to CBDS). Their CP is valid until March of 2009, so they are undoubedtly operating on automatic program test authority. It is not uncommon to see stations do this for a while, especially if they have complicated technical issues like combiners and the like that take time to get tehm to be "Just right". That's not the case here as they have alread filed for the license to cover. No "Informal objections" or anything else I can see in their file. Kinda weird, actually.

Or CBDS could be wrong and their license may have been issued a while ago.
