How Many Anchors Does It Take...

to anchor 12 News Evening Edition at 6pm?!? Apparently, it takes three! I'm usually not home by 6pm on weekdays, but why on earth do they need Mark, Lin Sue, AND Fay anchoring a 30 minute newscast? The newsdesk looks CROWDED!

There is also 3 anchors at 4:30 and 5:00 on 12 News. They really have them moving around the news desk. I don't understand the concept of having Marc , Lin Sue and Fay doing anchor duties on all three evening newscasts. Three anchor news people makes it to crowded on news set. I wonder what the general manager is thinking of having them all on at once. I remember once I knew it was Marc and Fay doing the news at 4:30 ,and at 5:00 Mark and Lin sue did the news. At 6:00 it was Marc and Lin Sue doing the news with Fay doing the top story of the day or entertainment news.Then at 10:00 it was Marc and Lin Sue doing the news and with Fay doing the top story of day. I really like when Lin Sue and Fay do the news together it reminds me of the good old days of Heidi Fogelsong and Cater Lee who use to do the news over there on NewsChannel 3.
 
For as much as a lot of people on here hate the local news in Phoenix, you do sure watch a lot of it. Not only watch it but come on here and have lengthy discussion of it. Just a thought.
 
Dare I go there...

Fay is, shall we say, of the "younger, blonder" persuasion than Lin Sue. I suspect 12 News keeps her on-set for that particular reason.
