How many cameras?

How many cameras were there covering every aspect of the Super Bowl? Was it the most ever or have they standardized things to a certain number?

Yeah, rental houses from LA to NY were very happy.

Those of us who might have had to rent equipment during that time, though, are not so happy.

I have a friend who is a free-lance video engineer for many sporting events.

He recently posted a photo to his FB page, showing (IIRC) TWENTY-SEVEN remote control units lined up on his console. Several were actually on an (I swear I'm not making this up)....actual "TV Tray". One of those folding things we used to eat TV Dinners off of, while watching the Captain, Mr GreenJeans, and Mister Moose.

I think that was "merely" a baseball game....not even close to Super Bowl.
