How many days has Severin been off this summer?

Vacay Severin is resting up for the fall, according to him.

Howie once told me that judges in MA get 17 weeks vacation. I think Severin has a similar deal ;D

Yikes...today (Tuesday) it's a "best of" show...no calls please.

A best of Howie show on 680, meanwhile, might be a better listen than the fill in they have now (Col. Hunt)
though I guess he got his raspy voice in a valiant way: shot in the throat in Vietnam...

Back soon ...

From WTKK:

Jay Severin returns Monday, August 27th, 2007

Best and brightest,

Monday is sure to be a great day. That's the day, Jay Severin comes back from vacation. He'll talk to you Monday, August 27th. Tune in to 96.9 FM TALK – WTKK from 3 to 7 p.m. Jay will hear you on MONDAY!

I heard Mr.Hotdog say he'd be in for Severino this week, but I didn't catch the day?

While I won't be listening, the commuters who do can amuse themselfs by keeping track of the number of throat-clears per hour.

Yes since I'm on the 'TKK mailing list I got that "hey, best and brightest, I'm back" email, too. No, I'll
be listening to Howie, who will also return tomorrow. (How long he'll be on 'RKO is unsure; last day
of contract is Sep 19 and nothing has been disclosed yet in that whole legal mess...and I don't know
if 'RKO would bench him)
