I got them all with no trouble, but "I'm in the demo," (56.) It is, however, a bit of a stretch to go from "In the Mood" to "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina & the Waves (not to mention, "ABC" by the Jackson Five ...

This is the Crawford FM in Rochester. They are a little more "standard-y" on KAAM 770 in Dallas/Ft. Worth. (And they stream.)

The only ones I missed were the artists of the two versions of "In The Mood." Now, had they used the Henhouse Five Plus Two version, I would have gotten it!

I got everything but the last In The Mood, don't know that version.

Yep if that's what they are playing the format is a little bit wide.

The commercial was great though. The shots of Rochester give it a good local feel.

I could not disagree more! This is the perfect station for those of us who REMEMBER what good radio is all about! Very nice, if this is representative of their playlist! No rap/hip-hop, & no punk/acid rock! Yum!!!! ;D 8)

Actually, I personally like the songs on the list with the link in the first post that wouldn't fit in a standards format. Nevertheless, letting in those songs opens a can of worms and compromises what makes the music good in the first place.

I have to agree, both good but they should not be lumped together. You might like Country and R&B but you wouldn't want to hear Hank Williams followed by Little Richard.

Okay, I checked that list again by following the link in the first post. Where did "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" come from? I don't want to hear the Beatles songs that DO fit in a standards format, much less the ones that don't.

Hey it's not about what you want it's what I want! ;D I have no problem with their mellow cuts on a standards station.

Actually I hear the station is doing fine without us! I hear they they made some gains. Good for them!
