How many songs, for a good playlist

Right now the NEW GROOVE 1660, is running on 270 PLaylist Entries, with an Anything Goes, (PLAYING WHAT WE WANT) Dance format. How many songs does it take for a Good Playlist, for this kind of Format, and What are some suggestions for Good Dance Tracks I should be playing, New, or GOLD? BTW, We are running 24 Hrs now, with no Static Interference, and all the bugs worked out, I just need Station I.D.s

AS Many songs as possible, Im running somewhere in the range of 1,500 and growing.
always on the prowl for more too.

Depends on your currents. anywhwere from 200 - 700 is a good number. Depends on if you want to play hits or a bunch of filler.

Groove Dallas is currently running about 200.... mostly up-to-date House with some embedded classics. Cain FM's playlist was over 700, but that included all Dance generes.

I just checked your Playlist HOSS..... Very nice, and very similar to my station, I bet we share about 50% or more of the same tracks. My station is also heavy on (HOUSE), from Europe, but also plays some Breaks, and Trance, with a slight touch of Euro, but my playlist is at least 70% house.

w0rd. that playlist was out-of-date. check the website again, there's a current one now... 90% House ;)
