How many songs in recurrent?

Can somebody help me when it's time for some song to became recurrent in AC format station, and how many songs you have in reccurent and current category?

If you are talking about currents, most ACs I've come accross play 5-7 currents and keep the top recurrents in heavy rotation.
AC is a very unique format. Different stations program differently. Some are aggressive with currents, playing 10-12 of them and not playing each song a lot, others play the top 5-7 heavily, some play 5 but in light rotation.

Songs below #5 go to recurrent in 52 weeks. See the chart, and in the small print at the bottom it has the guidelines for how the chart works:

Hope this is some help to you. I don't know how many there are in recurrent, as only the top 20 are listed.

And how long news at hour must be is 5 minutes too long? We have many listeners older than 50 years and they like to hear what's happening out there
