How much longer does Crush have?

Unfortunately for 90s music fans (like myself), Crush doesn't seem to be doing well... I wonder how much longer it'll last until the next format flip? Probably the most likely situations would be a swap of 105.7 and 99.1/HD2 (Hot 105.7), maybe oldies to compete against WTRY, or even another fad format? At least 104.9 the Cat is starting to do reasonably well :)

The reason for this frequency at 105.7 "Crush-FM" is being blocked by WKZE's translator at 105.9 in Red Hook. This sucks! I hope they should get rid of that translator, because 98.1 is far better and it has some of the signal in Kingston and Red Hook as well.

The question is....Why are they even still around at this point????

Why not? It's a niche format, it sounds really good.

The market has so many radio stations now, who is it hurting ?

If they can sell if and it's making money, why mess with it?

Where is the proof that is it not doing well (and don't quote "public" numbers, that doesn't mean anything)

There are other stations to question before Crush, IMHO.

Crush 105.7 is sounding real good with Terry O'Donnell mid-days and Mike Adams afternoon drive. Mike Adams has a different way of Dee Jaying, which is great change from the norm.

I like the format and the music, but the station sounds like one giant advertisement for the "radio pup app" and the "friends with benefits" listener club.
