How much longer is KLCK going to call themselves "New"?

The "New", Click 98.9!

They've been on the air since December 27th, 2010. They have DJs now and contests. How much longer do they have to wait not to call themselves new anymore?

You forgot "The New" 100.7 The Wolf-they've been on with C&W since late 2005...

I recall KPLZ had "New" as apart of it's Star 101.5 moniker for a long time back in the mid-90s. Also I think during the whole run of 95.7's 70s & 80s format as KLTX between K-Lite and KJR, it was known as "The Northwest's NEW 95.7 FM".

Sorry Mookie- it could last for years. It's not uncommon.

Why do stations draw this out for so long? It seems as if they either say they are new for 5 years or not at all. It seems as if KBKS did this too, they launched in what, 96? Actually I think they flipped to CHR in 97, but still refer to themselves as the new Kiss 106.1 in an aircheck I have from February of 99. BTW, what happened to Tanner? Now Heather is on in the evenings what happened?

That was in 1994. And it only lasted a few months (from April to June)

As far as KLCK and KKWF are concerned, yeah, that IS a bit LONG. I just think it's tacky after a year....
