Without good high-speed internet, those services do not exist. I'm willing to guess that there are still vast areas in rural America that either are stuck with dial-up, limited speeds via a small local cable company or poor cell service, limited satellite service such as HughesNet, or nothing at all.

Mr. Goodfellow explicitly stated that his alternative to satellite would be to stream everything, suggesting that streaming is an option for him.
Internet is a much more valuable commodity than television, so if there are people who are unable to stream due to infrastructure, we should fix that.

Theoretically, streaming is an option-our provider is Frontier, which may not be up to speed-literally. Our state and federal politicians always bring up substandard internet-or nonexistent internet-as an impediment to people wishing to locate in West Virginia.
