So WDEK does not even show up in the newly released Rockford arbitrons, doesn't show up in Chicago, how much longer can they afford to have no ratings and still keep the station going???

I think it could be years. Maybe PPM will help them.

DeKalb / Rockford is not liberal like Madison is and Dance is so niche, look at Pulse 87 in NYC, the country's largest market can't support dance.

WDEK ought to be local radio, not a repeater station for NewsWeb in Chicago! Biggest mistake when WLBK sold it.

Agreed Q-98.5 could use some competition. What would be the Urban CHR competition? WZOK? Would this be for the NIU demo? Can't picture the locals tuning in Urban CHR, this is De Kalb not a large Metro... That's like expecting Smooth Jazz to "Play in Peoria"

To serve the Rockford Metro -and NIU also. Country would be my first choice.
