How much longer..

WSPA and WMYI in Greenville went all-Christmas Thursday morning, and were actually some of the first stations to do it this year (I know Grand Rapids, Albany, and Kansas City were already all-Christmas)...

how much longer until WKQC and WLYT make the switch? Friday afternoon (11/12)?

Hey you sound like we are in desperation mode, no worries.

Santa will pull the plug soon, if he has made it to South Carolina, he will be making his way up to North Carolina in the next day....

So yes- listen at 5pm tomorrow evening or the next Friday (the 19th).

Any station that doesn't play christmas music now is what I'm listening too. This early start to christmas is a joke. Will 90.3 W-RBK ever increase their signal to folks who live east of charlotte?

At least they waited until mid-November this year instead of flipping November 1st like they did last year. They really should just sprinkle some Christmas songs into their regular playlist until after Thanksgiving and then go all-Christmas.

WRCM/Charlotte started Christmas music Friday....but I think it was just a "preview" weekend. Who the heck wants to "preview" Christmas music?

Short play lists, early Christmas music, etc. If it didn't get ratings they wouldn't do it. When it doesn't get ratings they will stop. Since I don't like it I won't be listening, case closed.

We have this same thread every year. Move on! ;D

I do so wish WRBK would increase their signal.

That probably won't happen, they have already done one increase. There is WFHE, Hickory, NC also on 90.3.

Lite 102.9 is playing 70s/80s this weekend, so no Christmas there. Looks like next week, for them at least. Charlotte sure is lucky... :D
They were playing "Paradise City" by Guns 'n Roses when I checked.

Ah, "Paradise City" - now, that's a "Lite" classic! Was that followed by "More Than A Feeling"? ("Lite FM" in New York City has been infamous in adding that one to their playlist...)

I do so wish WRBK would increase their signal.

And then would interfere with other stations on the frequency.
