How Often Does This Happen?

Was talking to a buddy of mine who got a call from a Westwood One syndication guy who asked if they would want to drop Lars Larson and take Phil Valentine instead. Does this happen allot? I mean aren't these guys supposed to be protecting their properties like Lars and not trading him away for the flavor of the month?

If I'm Lars I would be pretty ticked about that!

>>>who asked if they would want to drop Lars Larson and take Phil Valentine instead.

it's called a kickback...

Meaning that the syndication guy gets a kick back?

I guess my point is that a company like WW1 is stealing from it's own shows for clears. And if I'm Lars and hear that his happening I would be pretty ticked off!

I've heard the ABC thing where you 'have to take Levin if you want Hannity' but this was new to me.
