How old is TSN's michael landsberg?

Me and a buddy have been trying to figure this out to settle a bet, but there doesn't seem to be any info anywhere.

I know that he was one of the original hosts of Sports Center (Sportsdesk at the time), which was 25 years ago. I assume he was about 30 years old at the time, which would make him 55 yrs old today.

Before doing that math, I would have put him at about 47-48, but that would mean he was under 25 on Sportsdesk which I don't think was the case. Anybody know?
