Is it me or is anyone else tired of people like Chris Matthews always interrupting their guests before people have the chance to answer a question?

I mention Matthews only because I was channel surfing and came across "Hardball" on the "Obama Network" ,aka MSNBC, and watched him constantly interrupt a panel of people he had on the program to discuss Tuesday night's primaries.

If you are reading this Chris, I have two words for you: SHUT UP! Let your guests finish answering your questions. The same goes for the rest of the "talking heads" on TV.
 
This is one of the many reasons why I gave up on the cable news channels long ago. The way they present the news makes me ill a lot, so I stick with my local newspaper and the internet for the news.
 
Has anybody noticed that Chris Matthews and Lou Dobbs are never seen together? ::)
 
I'm not sure this has as much to do with the cable news channels in general as it does with Chris Matthews specifically. There are many cable news shows whose hosts are polite and manage the dialog efficiently without interrupting their guests. This reason is, however, exactly why I don't watch "Hardball" but do watch "Countdown" as Keith Olbermann knows how to interview a guest.

The thing that I find objectionable about cable news in general is that their producers never seem to allow enough time to complete an interview. CNNH and MSNBC are both guilty of this. They will bring a guest aboard to describe a story then after a few sentences brush him/her off the air with the disclaimer "we're out of time" only to then repeat a story just on minutes before. Drives me crazy!!!!!
 
Another one who seems to interrupt a lot is Larry King; maybe not as much when he has just one guest but when several are on a panel discussion. He may be trying to get everybody in before the hour is up but still....
 
Panel discussions with more than about three panelists is too much. They interrupt each other more often than the host, then there are a couple seconds of awkward silence. CNBC is bad about this. CNN is too.

What show have you been watching?

I have yet to watch any host on MSNBC who could be slapped with that moniker.
