I was doing a search on how I might find a specific segment from 2002?
I was on the radio with Andy Savage, Steve the Producer, and Jodi a few days before Limp Bizkit came to the Guitar Center on Mercer in January 14 2002.
Myself and maybe 2 other guitarists were in the studio with the crew and played a bit on air.
We talked a bit about the bands I was playing in at the time and my guitar pedals. Specifically, my Big Muff Pi as Jodi was curious as to what it was, and Steve went on a bit explaining about it... He talked about all the bands that use it, although I think Jodi was thinking of something else given its name...
Anyway, I'd love to find that segment if anyone knows how.
I'm sure I was awkward and terrible in the booth with them - which is too funny to me and I'd love to hear how it went if it's possible to find it.
That interview was a few days before my 21st birthday. And the Audtion for Limb Bizkit was January 14, 2002, the Day after my 21st.
I drove an hour up to Seattle at 4 AM to get in line. I met people who had come down from Vancouver Candada, and others that Drove up From Portland Or for the opportunity.
It was a sh*t show.
Not sure how many people remember this, but all the guitarists were forced to sign waivers once we got up close to the booth to play. The waiver was 3-5 pages long and basically said:
Inside the Audition Booth were two people, and at least two cameras. They wanted to be sure to capture what you were playing with cameras focused in on the neck of the guitar.
Anyway, it was wild.
Regardless of the Audition, I'd really love any info on how to get a copy of the interview/ Segment I did on 1077 with Andy, Stevw, and Jodi.
Apprecaite it.

- No guitar solos.
- No cover songs.
- Only Original Content that could later be used and property of Limp Bizkit.
- There would be no compensation for any riffs LB took away from the auditions.
