54mbps? Is that for real? That's like 8 or 9 times faster than T1, I think. I just got an email from them yesterday announcing that they were upgrading connections to 6mbps... you must be on a better plan than me or something.
Honestly, I wonder if it's just some crazy thing with my PC (it's old and I plan to replace it soon). I use the Speedtest apps on **********.com from time to time and the download tests still indicate my speed is nearly in the range of 400kb/sec. So it seems that my bandwidth should be adequate, I just don't understand why the audio is always buffering on me (even at lo-fi). Some streams do it worse than others... KTU's stream is always awful for me, while Energy AZ and Mikeo's Energy 98 seem to stream here pretty well, most of the time. All of the others come and go without reason. The only other thing I can imagine is that maybe I just have to deal with a lot of people in my area consuming some of that cable bandwidth.
