How to write a resume and other job seeking tips

Though I am not in ENC, I stumbled into their conversations some time last year and have found it an interesting board to follow. These people are reasonably civil to one another. They are not overwhelmed by typical chatter about big metropolitan radio.

And over time I have come to understand and appreciate the guy who posted his resume, only to get it shot down by some people. I began to picture this person in my mind, and when he posted more, and I followed his audition I came to realize how different he was from what I first pictured in my mind.

That is the scary thing about doing resumes for radio. I don't care who you are, unless you are very skilled, the reader of your resume will not have an image of you that matches reality.

(The presemes there is any reality in any of us!) ;D
