Alaska How we do Christmas programming in small town, remote Alaska radio

We've been sprinkling in Christmas music during our regular, local programming since the day after Thanksgiving, increasing the number of Xmas songs played per hour as we get closer to the day

We flip the switch to all Christmas music today at Noon and continue playing all Christmas music till 5pm on Friday. But in between all that music we'll have some radio plays and concerts

Today, we'll have the McGrath Schools "A Charlie Brown Christmas" at 12pm and tomorrow at 3pm.. The Northern Lights Theatre Group from McGrath will have the Nativity play on today at 2 and tomorrow at 12noon, Florida gulf coast universities concert choir will have a Christmas concert at 4pm& 7pm today and 6pm tomorrow and then A Christmas Carol recorded by staff at WKZE 98.1 Kingston, NY tonight and tomorrow at 9pm
