How well do Seattle area radio stations perform in Bellingham?

I've always been able to pick up Seattle signals while driving around Bellingham, but I'm assuming that there are quite a few "dead zones" in the area.

Where, technically, is downtown? I've been up to the mall and on the WWU campus and have heard both Cougar and Tiger sticks there. There's a park just north of town that we went up to one day about 12 years ago, and I remember we had problems with then KBSG, but had KJR all the way back home.

Downtown is technically in a low-lying area near the bay. All of the Seattle stations should perform decently, given you are near the campus of WWU (which is situated on a small mountain itself), or the mall because it is also on high ground. When you get off the freeway into some of the neighbourhoods of Bellingham, the signals fade pretty quickly. KJR is one of the better signals though just because there is no adjacent channel to worry about.
